You are immediately eligible to participate in the Oxy 401(k) Savings Plan.
Whether you’re new to saving or an experienced investor, this guide explains the features and advantages of the Oxy 401(k) Savings Plan (“the Plan”), including:
- Pre-tax contributions – you pay no taxes on your savings today
- Roth 401(k) – pay taxes today for tax-free income in retirement*
- Regular after-tax contributions – pay taxes on your savings today and pay taxes only on your investment earnings when you make withdrawals in retirement
- Company matching contribution – the dollars Oxy contributes, in addition to your own
- Catch-up contributions – If you turn age 50 before December 31 of any given year, you can make additional catch-up contributions
- Tax-deferred investing – without being taxed until you take a distribution
- A choice of investments – so you can create a portfolio that’s right for you
- Loans and withdrawals – should you need your savings before retirement
- 24/7 account access – through the Internet or by phone

Personalize your Plan:
You can access and personalize your account by choosing your own contribution rate, contribution type, and/or investment elections at any time.
- Go to oxy.voya.com. From the Home page on the Plan website, select Register Now, or call the Oxy Retirement Service Center 1-844-OXY-401K (1-844-699-4015) and follow the prompts.
- Log in with your Social Security Number and PIN (issued by Voya and mailed to you in a security envelope). If you have lost, misplaced, or not received your PIN, select “Social Security Number + Date of Birth.” This process will allow you to register by answering a few security questions. Please note that if any answers do not match, you will need to register with a Social Security Number / PIN that will be mailed to you.
- Next you will be asked to create your Username and Password. These values will be used to access your online account going forward. Your Username can be an email address or a name you can remember and needs to be a minimum of 6 characters.
- To make your contribution elections, click on Account > Contributions > Change Contributions.
- To make investment elections, click on Account > Manage Investments > Change Elections.
- Confirm your elections and submit. To view confirmations of your elections, click on Statements & Documents > Correspondence.
- Don’t forget to elect a beneficiary for your Plan account by clicking on Personal Info > Beneficiary Information.
- That’s all there is to it. Typically, contribution changes will begin within one or two pay periods. If not, contact Voya for assistance.
